Cocoparra National Park & Binya State Forest
This national park and state forest is located 35 kilometres northeast of Griffith, in the Riverina region of southwestern New South Wales. It features the Cocoparra range of hills that rise out of the predominately flat surrounding plain. Vegetation is semi-arid woodlands including, Dwyer's gum, ironbark, Blakely's gum, yellow box, white cypress pine, Deane's wattle and currawang. After heavy rain numerous, normally dry creeks and several waterfalls, spring into life.
